Lage und Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

Das Haus ist Teil einer modernen Reihenhaussiedlung und liegt im 23. Bezirk
zwischen dem Villenviertel von Mauer und dem Stadtteil Liesing.
Der Anschluss an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz ist ausgezeichnet.
Zu Fuß erreichen Sie die Schnellbahn binnen weniger Minuten, mit den Bus,
der die Haltestelle fast direkt vor den Haus hat, ist die Schnellbahn nur eine Station entfernt.
Mit der Schnellbahn erreichen Sie das Stadtzentrum in weniger als 20 Minuten.
Sie steigen am Bahnhof Wien-Mitte aus der Schnellbahn aus und erreichen
leicht zu Fuß oder per U-Bahn die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt,
z.B. Schloss Schönbrunn, Stadtpark, Oper, Stephansplatz, Kunst- und
Naturhistorisches Museum, Parlament, Rathaus, Hofburg und Burgtheater.
Für Stadtrundfahrten mit dem Bus werden Sie sogar direkt vom Haus abgeholt.

Kostenlose Parkplätze finden Sie ausreichend direkt beim Haus.
Bei Anreise mit Zug oder Flugzeug ist die Wohnung leicht erreichbar.
Einen gut sortierten Supermakt finden Sie direkt um die Ecke (ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß),
das Geschäftszentrum von Liesing mit allen Nahversorgern ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Mit dem Auto kommen Sie in ca. 15 min. zum größten
Einkaufzentrum Österreichs, der Shopping City Süd.

Für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und Wanderungen ist der Wienerwald
nicht weit entfernt - per Bus ca. 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof Liesing.
Freibäder und Hallenbad sind ebenfalls günstig mit dem Auto oder Bus erreichbar.
Gute Restaurants befinden sich in der Umgebung.

• Wohnzimmer mit gemütlicher Sitzgarnitur (mit Doppelbett), Wandverbau mit Schreibtisch
und PC-Arbeitsplatz, Kabel–TV (38 Programme), Telefon und CD-Player mit Radiowecker,
Computer (Windows XP mit kostenlosem Breitband-Internet. Auch WLAN ist verfügbar.
• Kitchenette mit 2-flammigen E-Herd, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank (**), Kaffeemaschine,
Ausreichend Töpfe, Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser, Minibar
• Vorraum mit gemütlichem Essbereich, Tisch für 2 - 4 Personen ausziehbar.
• Bad mit Wanne und getrennter Dusche, WC, Spiegelschrank, Haarfön.

Dampfbügeleisen und Bügeltisch.

Waschmaschine und Trockner im Haus vorhanden, Verwendung auf Anfrage.
Haustiere sind leider nicht erlaubt da wir selbst einen freundlichen, aber eifersüchtigen Dackel haben.
Wegen der Lage im 2. Stock ist das Appartement auch nicht behindertengerecht.

Location and public traffic:

The house is part of a row of terraced houses, situated in 23rd district,
between the fashionable parts of Mauer and Vienna´s suburb Liesing.

Connection to public transport is excellent: The “Schnellbahn” is reached on foot within a few minutes,
by bus (the bus stop almost in front of the house) it is just a one stop ride.
By “Schnellbahn” you reach the city centre in less than 20 minutes. You get off at “Wien–Mitte” Station,
from where you can easily get to most sights either on foot or by underground, e.g. Schönbrunn Castle, City Park,
Opera, St. Stephen´s Square, Museums of Art and Natural Science History, Albertina, Belvedere Castle,
Parliament, Town Hall, all the important theatres and other museums.
For city tours you can be collected directly from our house.
Free parking is easily possible in front of the house.

If you arrive by train or plane the flat can easily be reached.
A well assorted supermarket is right around the next corner (3 minutes walking distance),
the shopping centres of Liesing can be reached within a few minutes.
By car it takes only about 15 minutes to Austria´s (if not Europe´s) largest Shopping Centre, the “Shopping City Süd”.
For walking- and hiking tours the famous Vienna Woods are not far away: about a quarter of an hour by bus.
Outdoor and indoor public pools can be reached easily by car or bus, too.
Good restaurants can be found in our vicinity.

• 1 living room, comfortable bed – sitter couch (double bed), wardrobe with writing desk and
• PC working place, cable TV (38 programs), telephone and CD Player with radio clock,
Computer (Windows XP with free internet. WLAN available.
• Kitchenette with 2 flame electric stove, microwave, fridge (**),
coffee machine, plenty of pots, china, cutlery and glasses.
• Hall with cosy dining area, table for 2 to 4 people.
• Bathroom with tub and separated shower, toilet, hairdryer, steam iron and ironing table.

Our washing machine and dryer may be used on request.

Sorry, no pets, as we have ourselves a friendly but jealous dax hound.
Being situated on second floor the apartment is – sorry to say – not appropriate for handicapped people.
